Welcome to Agape

A Premier Ft. Lauderdale Addiction Treatment Center

At Agape Treatment Center, we understand that overcoming addiction is only a small part of your path to recovery. The real success of your recovery is rebuilding your life with purpose, dignity, and wellness. We believe that recovering from addiction should not feel like being treated in an institution.

Our philosophy at Agape as a leading drug rehabilitation center in Fort Lauderdale is that each client will receive unconditional love (“Agape”) and respect. We combine the warmth and comfort of a luxury resort with the strict ethical guidelines of evidence-based medical practices. Our treatment facility is designed to offer a safe place where you can concentrate solely on creating your new life.

No matter whether you are struggling with substance abuse, mental health issues, or trauma, our team is here to lead you back to your true self.

Why Should You Choose Agape Treatment Center?

Individualized Clinical Care

Everybody is different, so nobody’s treatment should be the same. We take a different approach to treatment than most facilities, and offer each client a customized treatment plan based on evidence-based practices to address the underlying causes of their addiction and not just their symptoms.

Hospitality Oriented Environment

You heal best when you feel safe and comfortable. Our facility has been purposely built to feel more like a boutique hotel than a hospital, so that you may relax as you concentrate on getting well and working with your therapist.

Specialized Recovery Programs

Although we are an evidence-based facility, our programs honor the diverse backgrounds and lived experiences of our clients. Some of our specialized recovery tracks include Operation Agape (for veterans) and Dual Diagnosis.

We Accept Most Major Insurance Plans

Money should never stand in the way of you and recovery. Agape Treatment works with several national carriers to secure coverage for rehab and outpatient services and keep treatment both accessible and affordable.

PHP is our highest and most intensive level of care. PHP clients participate in full-day treatment that provides the structure and medical oversight required to stabilize clients. The program runs under a ‘day-night’ model to provide an immersive experience while eliminating the need for clients to worry about daily logistics, allowing them to return to supportive housing in the evenings.

IOP is designed for clients that want to continue with their daily routine while in treatment. A flexible schedule allows clients to have access to individual and group therapy while maintaining family, work, and/or school responsibilities.

Regardless of how long you have been in treatment or have been in recovery, the journey continues. Our outpatient program is designed to support you as you transition back into independent living. By maintaining regular contact with our clinical team through weekly therapy and check-ins, you can navigate the challenges of daily life while keeping your foundation of sobriety strong.

Our Mission

To Provide Comprehensive Drug & Alcohol Treatment In South Florida

Dual Diagnosis & Co-Occuring Disorders Treatment

We acknowledge that addiction does not occur by itself. Therefore, as part of our holistic treatment approach, we also treat any co-occurring mental health disorders, such as:

Operation Agape

Serving Those Who Have Served

Our commitment to serving those who served our Country is exhibited by our Operation Agape program. We understand the unique challenges Veterans experience following their military service; often, the hardest battles are fought at home.

Through Operation Agape, Veterans have the opportunity to establish a fellowship of recovery by connecting with other Veterans who have similar challenges. Operation Agape incorporates trauma-informed care into its clinical footprint. Interventions utilized within the program include EMDR and RRT.

Evidence-Based Therapies at Agape Treatment Center

Agape utilizes best practices for addiction treatment at our Fort Lauderdale treatment facility through a combination of advanced clinical modalities and holistic wellness techniques. Evidence-based therapies we provide include Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), which is designed to clear the effects of trauma quickly by targeting the subconscious. It uses specific linguistic patterns and storytelling to eliminate the emotional pain associated with traumatic events without requiring the client to relive the experience. When appropriate, we also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help individuals process and integrate distressing memories. By using bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows the brain to resume its natural healing process, effectively reducing the emotional “charge” of past trauma.
